Through an expanded partnership, Evonik Industries, Essen, Germany, will offer more specialized botanical actives and extracts to the personal care industry from Sabinsa, Piscataway, NJ. Adding to its existing line, Evonik will introduce Venocin, a standardized extract derived from the seeds of the horse chestnut tree, and xymenynic acid—obtained from Santalum album seeds—adding an anti-inflammatory effect to personal care products.
